NON-AWARD ACCOUNTING COURSE

Obtaining the skills assessment is a necessity for the General Skilled Migration visas such as subclass 189, 190 and 491 visa. However, for certain occupations, it may be difficult to meet some of the assessing criteria. Non-award accounting courses can be one of your alternatives to obtain the skills assessment.

Taking the non-award accounting courses, you may be able to obtain the skills assessment for the following occupations:

  • Accountant (General) – ANZSCO 221111

  • Taxation Accountant – ANZSCO 221113

  • External Auditor – ANZSCO 221213

  • Management Accountant – ANZSCO 221112

  • Finance Manager – ANZSCO 132211

  • Corporate Treasurer – ANZSCO 221212

The assessment criteria for the skills assessment of the above occupations:

  1. Hold a qualification equivalent to at least an Australian bachelor’s degree

  2. Successfully complete all mandatory competency areas related to the occupation

  3. Meet the English language proficiency requirement

With the non-award accounting courses, regardless of your education background, you will be able to satisfy the above Criterion 2.

Features of Non-award Accounting Course:

  • 7 weeks of study for each intake (6 weeks of coursework + 1 week of examination)

  • Regular intakes for every two months, maximum of 4 courses in each intake

  • High pass rate

  • Moderate course tuition fee

Cost:

$2250 per course. Scholarships are available if you apply through AusDream. The provider may change the tuition fee from time to time.
