PROFESSIONAL YEAR PROGRAM

Basic Information:

Professional Year Program (PY program) is a minimum 44-week professional development program which includes 32 weeks of the training course and 12 weeks of industry-relevant internship. The program aims to equip international graduates (from Australian universities) with skills and experience, which are valuable for entering the Australian workplace.

Currently, the PY program is only available for Accounting, ICT/Computing and Engineering graduates.

Obtain 5 points for your Canberra Matrix, if you complete the PY program in the ACT

Entry Requirements:

The general entry requirements are as follow:

English requirements
Hold or applied for a Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485, either stream) with at least 12 months validity or;
Hold an eligible Secondary Visa with work and study rights with at least 12 months validity
A skills assessment may be applicable
