Desired to apply for Permanent Residency (PR) in Australia? The Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa is a points-tested visa for skilled workers who are nominated by a state or territory because their occupations are in demand. Different states or territories have their unique selecting systems. In Australian Capital Territory (ACT), a score-based Canberra Matrix is used to select the candidates.

 

With this visa you can:

  • stay in Australia permanently

  • work and study in Australia

  • enrol in Australia's public health care scheme, Medicare

  • sponsor your eligible relatives to come to Australia

  • if eligible, become an Australian citizen

 

Eligibility:

You need to meet the following requirements:​

  • Have a relevant skills assessment

  • Be nominated by an Australian state or territory government agency

  • Be invited to apply for this visa

  • Score 65 points or more for your EOI

  • Be under 45 years of age

  • Meet the English language requirement

  • Other requirements
